Chicago Parties

Adult Birthday Parties in Chicago, Illinois

After you pass a few years of celebrating the anniversary of your 21st birthday the typical wristband deals and bars get old. In fact, the deals seem like just another night out on the town. Over the past year or so, I’ve gone to the places below and had such a great time! Let’s bring a twist to an adult birthday!

Spin

Get your ping pong on at Spin located in the heart of River North near Marina City (corn on the cob looking buildings). Spin has a full bar and plenty of food options to snack on. Not into ping pong? Sip on a drink while you lounge on their comfy couches and seating. The location is rather large and is great for a friend’s outing or work parties.

Ace Bounce

Similar concept to Spin. I’ve been here a number of times and have even played beer pong a few times as well. Our time was up at our table for our game and my friend told the waitress “hold on one second and watch while I sink this last shot”…and he did! This place is a little smaller than Spin but just as fun! I’ve been here for work events and the vegetarian quinoa tacos and truffle pizza are so delicious! The garlic cheese sticks are also great! The drinks are delicious and creative as well. Ace Bounce is a great place for birthdays, special events, or work events.

10Pin

10Pin is located near Spin (River North). This bowling alley feels more like your typical bowling alley + a few ping pong tables and a full service bar. Plenty of fun here and great service! Book ahead using OpenTable or call the alley directly.

Pinstripes

Pinstripes is located in Streeterville and is by far my favorite bowling alley. They offer other fun activities on top of bowling. This alley is unique because the scenery is different and it looks and feels more high end. They have a private section with two lanes for a larger group of people. We ended up in this room because our reservation got messed up and enjoyed the couches and delicious drinks. Service was great and the bowling was fun!

Escape Room or Escape House

I do not recommend this place after you’ve had a few drinks. If anything, go before you head out! The concept of this place is brilliant. Get a group of people together and head to Escape Room to…well…take a lucky guess…escape the room! There are a few rooms with different themes and you have to try and figure out how to get to the next room in a certain amount of time using clues and figures. I’d recommend getting a group of 6-8 people to avoid having to many hands in the pot.
