Berry Vanilla Smoothie with Granola

Berry Vanilla Protein Smoothie

We’re in the single digits here in Chicago but I can never pass up a good ‘ole creamy protein smoothie! I’m one to eyeball ingredients and hope that the final outcome ends up edible.

A fruity smoothie with a creamy light vanilla taste. Packed with protein!

Course: Breakfast
Cuisine: American
Servings: 1
Calories: 300 kcal
  • 4-8 Strawberries fresh or frozen
  • 1 medium Ripe Banana frozen
  • 1/2 cup Blueberries fresh or frozen
  • 1 cup Spinach leaves
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder of your choice
  • 2 Tbsp Chia Seeds
  • 1 1/2 cup unsweetened original almond milk
  • 3-4 ice cubes if you're not using frozen fruit
  1. Get that blender out and ready to go! Frozen fruit is highly recommended if you want a creamier smoothie.

  2. Add 1 cup of almond milk (you can add more if needed as you blend). Toss in the frozen banana (this helps make the smoothie extra creamy). Add the blueberries, strawberries, and ice cubs (optional). Blend the ingredients together on medium until there are little to no visible chunks
  3. Add the protein powder, chia seeds, and spinach (feel free to add in extra almond milk here if needed). Blend again on medium until you have reached the desired consistency
  4. Serve in a bowl or glass and garnish with sugar free homemade granola!

Yum! I made this today and absolutely loved it! I was skeptical about the vanilla protein at first but it’s the perfect touch.
