Cinnamon Sugar Baked Cauliflower

One day when I was little, my dad made a sweet version of cauliflower and when he first told me I thought he was crazy. Boy was I wrong! Cinnamon Sugar Baked Cauliflower is my new go to when I’m craving something sweet but don’t want unhealthy food.

The nice thing about cauliflower is that the overall flavor isn’t overbearing at all. I’ve had mashed cauliflower, cauliflower rice, cauliflower pizza crust, and even cauliflower tacos (check my recipe here), and never feel as if there too much cauliflower flavor. Trust me when I say that you will enjoy this little treat, at least a little!

In my opinion, this is a perfect side dish if you’re having people over for brunch! (If you don’t already know this, Easter is my favorite in terms of holiday meals! My mom makes a brunch that’s mainly breakfast dishes and I look forward to this meal every single year).

Baked cauliflower chunks brushed with butter, cinnamon, and sugar.

  • 1 Head Cauliflower
  • 3 Tbsp Butter melted
  • 1 Tbsp Sugar or less
  • Dash Ground Cinnamon
  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Cut the cauliflower into large or small pieces, removing the stems. Place on a baking sheet and spread out.
  3. Melt the butter and mix with the cinnamon and sugar.
  4. Brush the butter mixture over the cauliflower pieces until evenly coated.
  5. Place in the oven for 35-40 minutes (until tender to fork).

  6. Broil for 5 minutes on low - or until crispy and golden!

  7. Remove, let cool a bit, and enjoy!
Recipe Notes

*I always eyeball the amount of cinnamon because a little cinnamon goes a long way. You can use more cinnamon and less sugar if you wish.
