Let’s get margs, please! Love a good margarita every now and then (ok way more than that), but I hate how some are loaded with sugar. Fruit itself is naturally sweet and I personally don’t feel the need for the added sugar (especially when you’re drinking more than one..or three).
I used the juice from an orange to replace the orange liquor (just add more tequila if you don’t want to cut back on the alcohol). Not sure when or where tequila grew on me but it’s like my water. No one in my family enjoys it but that’s ok…more for me!
A citrusy margarita without the added sugar.
- Juice 1/2 Grapefruit
- 2 oz Juice of Orange
- 1.5 oz Tequila Casamigos (or your choice)
- Juice 1/2 Lime
- 1/2 cup Gimbi Pink Grapefruit Bai Bubbles
- 3 Tbsp water
- 1 cup Ice
- Sugar or Salt for the rim I always go sugar
Take a paper towel and run it under water. Wipe the rim of the glass with the towel and dip in a plate with salt or sugar.
Pour the ice in the cup.
Add the water & Gimbi Pink Grapefruit Bai and stir.
Add the juice of Tequila, grapefruit, lime, and orange.
Taste & add additional Bai or juices as needed.
Gimbi Pink Grapefruit can be found at your local grocery store.
