I love a simple peanut butter granola bar that doesn’t contain 900 unnecessary ingredients. Quaker, I love ya but cannot believe how many ingredients are listed for those tiny little Chewy granola bars.
This recipe took a few tries as I couldn’t get the ingredients to stick the first couple of times; however, the maple syrup help bind the mixture together.

Ingredients
- 4.5 Cups Rice Krispie Cereal
- 4 Tbsp Butter
- 1.5 Tbsp Unsweetened Almond Milk
- 1 tsp Pure Vanilla Extract
- 3/4 cup Organic Creamy Peanut Butter
- 2 Tbsp Honey
- 1 Tbsp Pure Maple Syrup
- Sprinkle Mini Chocolate Chip Morsels optional
Instructions

Grease a 9x11 glass pan.

Melt the butter over low heat in a small sauce pan.

Add in the almond milk and vanilla extract.

While the milk and butter are warming, mix the peanut butter and honey together in a separate bowl.

Remove the almond milk mixture from heat and slow pour into the peanut butter mixture. Mix until incorporated.

Slowly pour over the bowl of rice Krispies and mix until evenly distributed.

Drizzle the maple syrup over the mixture. Add enough to make the mixture stick.

Remove from bowl and evenly spread the mixture in a 9x11 glass pan.

Option to add Chocolate Chip morsels on top.

Pat down and flatten tops.

Let cool for 30 minutes or more.
