There’s something about a smoothie or protein shake poured into a bowl that makes it 10x more filling than it already is to begin with. I took my Vanilla Almond Butter Protein Shake recipe and poured it into a bowl. From there, I decided to add extra toppings such as; oats, sliced almonds (very thin), and one more banana. The texture of the thinly sliced almonds is my absolute favorite!
If you’re curious as to what this shake taste like – think about the taste of banana bread only in liquid form. Heaven!
This might sound odd but it's delicious, I promise! A super simple recipe that leaves you with a creamy shake packed with protein and less calories.
- 3 Ice cubes
- 1 cup Unsweetened Almond Milk plain or vanilla
- 1 scoop Vanilla Protein Powder brand of your choice
- 1 Frozen Banana
- 1 heaping spoonful Almond Butter can substitute peanut butter
- 1 Tbsp Oats
Toss everything in a blender and blend until smooth. Simple as that! Every now and then i'll top it with extra oats.
